Experience strong, peer-motivated desire to practice.

  Enjoy weekly, low-pressure performance opportunities.

In addition, longer class periods permit the incorporation of ear training, solfege, rhythm drills, and ensemble skills which are essential to developing skilled musicians.

Group Lesson Descriptions

GROUP PIANO (Ages 5 to Adult)

Students taking group piano (for English-language speakers) follow the nationally recognized Mayron Cole Piano Method. Lessons take place in our new Yamaha digital piano lab. Students experience a comprehensive course of study resulting in superior sight-reading, rhythm, theory, and ensemble skills, all while having a ton of fun! Five and early six-year olds attend lessons with their parent or care giver, and begin in our EZ Keys pre-reading course. Older students begin in our Menehune, Level 1A, or Accelerated course. Parents are highly encouraged to attend a portion of the class for students of any age. For more information about our group piano classes, CLICK HEREInstructor: Kristina Arellano

In addition students develop a solid theoretical background. As students progress they are invited to bring in their own music to lessons to share with the group.  Instructor: Kristina Arellano
